“He never does anything just because it’s right to do; he likes to do it because it feels good doing it.  He would come up with things that fit…Quincy Jones has a way of working with people where he’ll get them together and say ‘Okay, get into something. Jerry was the same way …. Jerry was very concerned.” B.B. King

You can see Jerry in a starring role in the new feature film, Jaco; the life story of his legendary disciple, a cameo solo performance in the film “Mitchellville and “Four Founders”, an upcoming feature film documenting the contribution of seven seminal players who brought the bass to the forefront through their prolific work. In addition he has developed a universally recognizable ColorSound Aural Learning System that he teaches at his Clinics and Workshops.  Jerry knows the value of clean honest living and credits his desire to practice True Buddhism as the rope that pulled him through the darkness and back into the light in a successful fight with drugs many years ago.

Through Souler Energy, a nonprofit corporation, he and his associates have taken a stand for the sake of all life on the planet. They employ the voice of music, art, education and technology to deliver a global message of unity through diversity and prevent isolation.
